A Visit from a Doctor

In year 2 Science the children have been learning about how to keep healthy and they received a visit from Doctor Ramchandani.

She came to talk about the organs inside of our body and the important job that they have.  We learnt about how we can best look after our brain, heart and lungs, kidneys and stomach, and how we can keep them healthy and working.   The children learnt lots of interesting facts and had great questions to ask too, such as: how can our stomach fit in so much food if it the size of a fist?  Does the blood in our body ever run out?  How many minutes of exercise should we do each day for a healthy heart? Does pollution in the air hurt our lungs?
