The children in Year One have been exploring the collages of Henri Matisse, linking with the work they have been doing in science about the human body.

First, they practised drawing the human body and making different marks and patterns.

Then, using Matisse's art work as inspiration, they created some colourful pictures of their own, with a real sense of movement.
