The children learnt how to make collages of animals by:

• Using torn paper to create an animal, adding details using pens and pastels.
• Choosing different materials to layer, overlap and stick to create a scene around their animal.

Some of the children chose colours and textures that camouflaged their animals.

Their artwork s quite small (A5 size) so they worked very carefully, with very fine detail.
