First we drew animals from different viewpoints, using models of animals for reference.

It was tricky but we practised and learnt how to look very carefully, and draw what we could see.

We chose our favourite animal drawings from our sketchbooks.

We used photocopies of our drawings as a starting point for our collages.

Next, we carefully chose collage materials to represent habitats for our animals.

We thought about colour, shape and texture.

We cut, overlapped, layered and stuck down materials.

We think our collages are very vibrant and exciting.
