In Year Two we read 'Tell Me A Dragon' by Jackie Morris and we looked at her beautiful illustrations of dragons.

We drew our own dragons, looking at models and different pictures of dragons. We added patterns and textures with pencils and pens.

We also explored drawing high and low horizon lines.

We used Brusho to paint the backgrounds of our pictures. We painted on wet paper, and then we used thick paint to add colour to our dragons.

Finally, we drew back over our dragons using pens.
