The children in Year 2 have been working on a DT project about wheels and axles. They designed a vehicle that could safely transport an animal to a place of sanctuary.

First they looked at and explored different types of vehicles.

Then they designed their own vehicle suitable to transport an animal to a place of sanctuary.

They thought carefully about the height and comfort of the vehicle to make sure it would be suitable.

Next they made their vehicle. They collaborated with a partner to ensure the chassis was the right size for the axles.
